
We'relooking for a Senior Software Developer to join our Data Lakes Infrastructure team, reporting to The Director of Software Development.You'llplay a critical role in building and scaling Nasdaq's big data pipeline infrastructure to support business-critical insights. You will design, implement, andoptimizedata lake solutions that power global markets.

What You'll Do
Develop andoptimizedata pipelines using big data technologies to ensure accuracy, consistency, and performance.
Design scalable solutions for extracting, transforming, and loading unstructured data for analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features and resolve technical challenges.
Monitor data pipelineinfrastructure,performance,and implement improvements that support scalability.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years of hands-on experience with data platforms, analytics, or cloud environments.
Proficiencywith AWS (including EMR), big data tools, data lakes, and SQL-based databases.
Working knowledge ofinfrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform,Pythonand Java with experience in ETL workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage priorities in a collaborative environment.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with cloud security architecture and AWS services.
Prior experience supporting production-grade systems in cloud environments.
This position willbe located in St. John's and Toronto and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
