THE OPPORTUNITY:

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Venue Setup Services team member to support the delivery of events across our venues.

This is a physically active, varied role and you’ll play a key part in bringing events to life through venue setup, changeovers, and operational support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver venue setup, resets, and pack-downs in line with event requirements, ensuring spaces are presented to a high standard and ready on time.
  • Support event delivery by working closely with internal teams and contractors, including coordinating tasks and supervising casual staff when required.
  • Maintain furniture, equipment, and storage areas, ensuring all items are well presented, in good condition and correctly stored.
  • Assist the Facilities team in ensuring operational readiness across DVML venues, including contractor and maintenance coordination.
  • Provide excellent customer service while ensuring health & safety standards are consistently upheld across all activities.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

This permanent role is hands on, fast paced and at times demanding during event periods. You will need to be confident in your ability to work calmly under pressure, balance multiple priorities, have strong attention to detail and have flexibility in your work hours to fit with the events management industry.

Along with this you’ll have:

  • Strong customer service mindset and positive attitude
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Physical fitness and be capable of manual handling tasks
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
