The Venue Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and overall managementofthevenue,ensuringaseamlessexperiencefromsetuptoguestdeparture. This role requires a strong operational background, exceptional leadership, and a deep commitment to hospitality. The Venue Manager ensures that all aspects of the venue
includingstaffing,service,facilitymaintenance,andguestexperience areexecutedtothe highest standard. Working closely with internal teams and clients, the Venue Manager upholdsthecompany’sreputationforexcellenceandensureseacheventandoperation runs efficiently, safely, and in alignment with brand expectations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Managethedailyoperationalneedsofthevenueinaccordancewithcompany policies and facilities standards.
Overseethesetup,service,andbreakdownofevents,ensuringallclientandvenue needs are met.
Maintain ongoing communication with internal teams including Events, Edge, AvenueandPeakRestaurantFOHtoensuresmoothcoordinationandexecution.
SupportMastercardTentpolesandotherPeakeventsincludingNightlife,Edge, Quin, and related activations.
CollaboratewiththeVenueManagementTeamtomaintainthefacility,proactively identifying and resolving operational or maintenance issues.
Ensure all venue spaces remain organized, clean, and visually presentable at all times.
Command athoroughunderstandingofDOH andDOBguidelines as theypertainto venue operations.
Manageguestarrivalanddepartureflowtoensureasafeandwelcoming experience.
Supervise andsupport the Operations Associates andon-site staffthroughout setup, service, and breakdown.
Lead,train,andmotivateteammemberstoupholdthecompany’sstandardsof service and professionalism.
ExecuteandrefineSOPsincollaborationwithleadership.
Fostercollaborationacrossdepartmentsandmaintainclearcommunication channels.
Reportoperationalupdates,challenges,andareasforimprovementtotheAGMof EventOperations.
Serveasahands-onleaderandteamplayer,steppingintoassistwhereverneeded.
Ensurethevenue’sphysicalspace,furniture,andequipmentareproperly maintained and operational.
Coordinatewithvendors,contractors,andfacilityteamsformaintenance,repairs, andupgrades.
Monitorinventoryandoverseepurchasingforvenuesupplies,rentalsand operational needs.
Implementsystemstotrackandimprovefacilityperformanceandresource management.
Ensureallguestsreceiveexceptionalserviceandhospitalityfromarrivalto departure.
WorkcloselywiththeEventsTeamtoensureeachevent’suniquerequirementsare fullyexecuted.
PartnerwiththePeakFOHteamtomanageguestflowandmaintainaseamless transition between spaces.
Anticipateandresolveserviceoroperationalchallengespromptlyand professionally.
Monitorvenuebudgetsandprovideregularreportingonlaborcosts,purchasing, and vendor expenditures.
Track expenses and monitorfinancialperformancetoensurecost-effective operations.
Maintainaccurateoperationalreports,staffschedules,andeventdocumentation.
Identifyandimplement process improvementstoenhanceefficiencyand profitability.
Maintainknowledgeofemergencyprocedures,firesafetyprotocols,andcrowd management best practices.
Proficiency with venue management software, POS systems, and scheduling platforms.
EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:
Minimum5yearsofexperienceinvenue,hospitality,oroperationsmanagement.
Proven leadershipandteammanagementskillsinafast-paced environment.
Exceptionalinterpersonalandcommunicationskills.
Strongfinancialacumenwithexperiencemanaginglabor,purchasing,andvendor relationships.
Demonstratedabilitytocreate,maintain,andimplementSOPs.
Flexible schedule based on operational and event needs including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Workingknowledgeoffacilitysystems,safetyprotocols,andcompliancestandards.
