Ventilation Installation Improver

Location:

Salary: £30,000 per annum starting salary, increasing to £36,000 after successful completion of 6 months. Following 12 months of successful service, you will move onto an OTE scheme worth up to £9,000 per annum, giving a total potential of £45,000 per annum.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week

We are currently seeking a Ventilation Installation Improver to join our growing Installations Division. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career electrical improver to gain valuable hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers installing domestic ventilation systems

What’s the role about?

• Installing EnviroVent domestic ventilation systems in occupied homes

• Learning through structured, on-the-job training alongside experienced installers

• Following a six-month development programme designed to progress you toward Installer level

• Gradual progression from paired installs to independent work once competence is demonstrated and assessed

• Occasional extended travel or overnight stays may be required (with all reasonable expenses covered)

• Completing digital job reports and documentation via tablet daily

What are we looking for?

Essential:

• City & Guilds 2365 Level 2 Electrical Installation qualification (or equivalent)

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)

• Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or City & Guilds 2392 Initial Verification

Personal Attributes:

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality of work

• Confidence working in customers’ homes

• Basic IT skills for reporting and training purposes
