We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Ventilation Fitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation systems across various construction and industrial sites. Your mechanical expertise and leadership skills will ensure that ventilation solutions are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your technical knowledge and hands-on experience to deliver optimal airflow and air quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, assemble, and fit ventilation systems according to detailed schematics and technical drawings
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with ventilation equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Repair and replace faulty components in air conditioning units and ventilation machinery
  • Lead small teams during installation projects, providing guidance and ensuring safety compliance
  • Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately execute installation tasks
  • Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate the integration of ventilation systems into building frameworks
  • Perform inspections of installed systems, identifying potential issues early and implementing corrective actions

You will need:

  • Proven experience as a ventilation fitter or similar role within construction or industrial environments
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring team members
  • Hands-on experience with equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of air conditioning and ventilation systems
  • Knowledge of construction processes and safety protocols on site
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
  • Relevant certifications or training related to HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) systems preferred
