In this role,you’llapplyyour vendor managementexpertisetolead the strategic managementofsuppliers and service providers, ensuring FCC secures the best possible value.

As a relationship builder and skilled negotiator,you’llworkwith internal leaders and external vendors totranslateour resourcing needs into clear contract specifications, support RFx activities,monitorvendorperformanceandplaya key role invendorgovernance

Bringing your analytical mind and clear communication style to the table,you’lluse supply chain best practices to manage risk, boostperformanceand help our vendors bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to FCC.

Whatyou’lldo

  • Build andmaintainstrong, professional relationships with vendors while serving as the primary point of accountability and escalation

  • Define,monitor, and manage vendor performance against KPIs and SLAs to ensure service quality, accountability, and continuous improvement

  • Oversee vendor contracts across their lifecycle to ensure commercial compliance, value realization, and effective renewals or amendments.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigatevendor-relatedrisks while ensuring adherence to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align vendor capabilities and outcomes with business needs and strategic objectives

What you'll bring

Required Qualifications:

  • A degreein business, finance,supply chain management,operations management,or administration and at leastfiveyears ofprocurementexperience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships and supplier performance

  • Advanced contract negotiation skills

  • Experience with national and/or multi-national vendors

  • Training in outsourcingmethodology, industrytrendsand vendor management best practices

  • Possession of an SCMP designation, or equivalent,would be considered an asset

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in vendor management within IT categories, with demonstrated exposure to software procurement and supplier partnerships, is a strong asset
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is a strong asset
