Job Description

Taylor Corporation is a dynamic, diversified company with big plans for the future ― and your career. We power our employees’ potential and strive to create opportunity and security for every member of the team. If you’re ready for something bigger ― more challenge, more variety, more pathways for professional growth ― we should talk. We’re passionate about our work, we believe there is always a better way, and we’re looking for people like you.

Ready to reach your potential? It’s time to look at Taylor.

Your Opportunity: OrderMesh, a subsidiary of Taylor Corporation, is looking for a Vendor Relations Specialist to join their team! This role sits at the center of OrderMesh Operations, connecting the people, partners, and processes that keep Operations moving. You’ll lead manufacturing partner integration from planning through launch, support network operations across shipping and costing, and manage vendor performance against customer expectations. You’ll spot risks and operational gaps early, coordinate solutions across teams, and improve the processes that help OrderMesh deliver reliably at scale.

Work Authorization:

To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Core Responsibilities:

Integration Project Management

  • Support new manufacturing partner integration into the OrderMesh platform from kickoff through go-live, coordinating across Product, Engineering, and the partner.
  • Maintain visibility into integration status across the network — know where every integration stands, what's blocking it, and what's being done to move it forward — and keep the team informed.
  • Track open platform issues and bugs affecting integration, following up with Engineering on remediation progress and keeping stakeholders updated.
  • Flag risks to timeline, scope, or quality as they arise, and escalate as needed.
  • Maintain integration documentation and playbooks so onboarding is repeatable and not dependent on tribal knowledge.

Network Operations Support

  • Shipping: manage carrier/vendor shipping account setup and troubleshooting and monitor shipping performance across manufacturing partners.
  • Shipping: Identify recurring shipping problems and support root-cause fixes rather than one-off patches.
  • Costing: help maintain the accuracy and upkeep of vendor cost data across the network, supporting pricing, margin, and quoting decisions with clean, current inputs.
  • Costing: monitor cost changes from manufacturing and shipping partners, flag anomalies, and keep cost documentation organized and easy to reference.
  • Contracting: maintain the vendor contract tracker — key terms, renewal dates, and SLA commitments — flagging upcoming renewals and gaps with enough lead time for terms to be negotiated, and keeping documentation organized and audit-ready.

Vendor Performance Management

  • Support the vendor scorecard and performance management framework — quality, reliability, responsiveness, and SLA adherence — keeping it current and accurate across all network partners.
  • Maintain the data and reporting that make vendor performance visible to the team, supporting tiering (Elite / Plug-In / network), routing, and catalog decisions.
  • Surface chronic or high-impact vendor performance issues.
  • Support relationship management and day-to-day coordination with 3P vendors, partnering with Sales and Network teams on sourcing, product expansion, and delivery of customer programs.

What Success Looks Like:

  • The team always has a current, trustworthy view of vendor performance, integration status, and network operations — nothing falls through the cracks.
  • New manufacturing partner integrations move smoothly from kickoff to go-live, with clean cross-org handoffs and documented playbooks.
  • Shipping, costing, and contracting run with minimal escalation, because issues are caught and coordinated early across teams.

What You Bring:

  • Experience supporting vendor/supplier coordination, procurement, or logistics operations, ideally in fulfillment, ecommerce, or a marketplace/platform environment.
  • Track record supporting cross-functional integration or onboarding projects with multiple external and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfort working with shipping, cost, and contract data — you can read a rate card or an SLA exhibit and know what matters.
  • A proactive mindset: you create visibility, chase down blockers, and keep vendors and internal partners accountable without needing to be told.
  • Strong written and verbal communication for both vendor-facing and internal cross-functional work.
