Job Description


Position Summary


  • Manage the financial and operational aspects of vendor investments for an assigned portfolio of vendors.

  • Maintain strong operational relationships with vendors while ensuring adherence to strict financial policies.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage and oversee vendor MDF (Marketing Development Funds) and rebate claiming processes and tools.

  • Perform accurate monthly MDF reconciliations and submit billing to Finance on time.

  • Reconcile vendor rebate programs tied to sales (customer-specific and product line-based).

  • Ensure compliance with all vendor contract POP (Proof of Performance) and reporting requirements.

  • Document and manage all vendor funding and rebate program requirements.

  • Support program administration and operational management for assigned vendors.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Finance regarding vendor funding inquiries.

  • Support the creation of activity and budget plans, incorporating MDF and financial policy insights.

  • Serve as a key contact for vendor representatives across Channel, Marketing, and Finance teams.

  • Utilize and maintain proficiency in FinancialForce.

  • Manage end-to-end vendor funding processes (contracts, approvals, portals, etc.).

  • Gather project details and create MDF projects.

  • Collect and coordinate all POP requirements from program owners.

  • Support MDF revenue forecasting and modeling.

  • Manage shared inboxes and respond to general support inquiries.

  • Handle portal setup and provide support for new partners.

  • Develop training guides and manuals for vendor-specific processes to support onboarding and backup coverage.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

  • Strong financial acumen or a finance-related educational background.

  • Understanding of the commercial IT hardware/software market is an advantage.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to think creatively and strategically.
