Vendor Manager - Bluebeam

About the role

As a Vendor Manager at Climb, you’ll represent one or more of our technology vendors at the distribution level. You’ll own each relationship from start to finish: growing sales, recruiting and training resellers, and making sure partners find Climb easy to work with. You’ll be a trusted advisor to vendors and to our network of 6,000+ value-added resellers across North America.

What you’ll do

• Serve as Climb’s main point of contact for your assigned vendors, staying in regular touch with their channel managers, sales leaders, and partner teams.
• Own the vendor relationship
• Carry out each vendor’s go-to-market strategy, focusing on their ideal partner and customer profiles.
• Run regular check-ins and quarterly business reviews covering performance, pipeline, promotions, and strategic plans.
• Bring vendors market feedback, reseller insights, and recommendations for growth.

Drive sales growth

Own monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for your vendor.

Manage the pipeline every day: follow up on open quotes and deal registrations, track high-value deals, and help close end-of-month opportunities.

Prepare pipeline reports and forecasts for management and vendor stakeholders.

Plan regularly with Climb’s field sellers to find new business and opportunities to upsell and cross-sell.

• Track KPIs and step in quickly when performance falls behind.
• Proactively find new business opportunities. Recruit and enable resellers
• Find and sign new reseller partners to grow each vendor’s presence in the channel.
• Enable partners and help existing ones get to know and use the vendor’s products more.
• Train resellers and Climb’s field and inside sales teams on vendor solutions, pricing programs, incentives, and what sets each vendor apart from competitors.
• Support reseller and Climb sales teams throughout the sales cycle with deal strategy, positioning advice, and partner presentations. Be the go-to expert
• Keep your vendor certifications current and stay on top of product updates and roadmaps.
• Answer product, licensing, and program questions from sales teams and resellers.
• Know the vendor’s quoting, ordering, deal registration, and pricing processes inside and out, and keep transactions moving smoothly.
• Act as the escalation point for critical vendor and reseller issues, including delivery, pricing, licensing, and support, and see them through to resolution.
• Find process improvements that make Climb easier to do business with. Generate demand • Plan and run reseller and MSP campaigns with Marketing, including webinars, workshops, email, and promotions.
• Make sure marketing-generated leads get followed up on time, measure how campaigns perform, and report results to vendors.
• Represent Climb at vendor, reseller, and industry events, including presenting solutions and turning event conversations into new opportunities. Shape strategy
• Track market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in your vendors’ space.
• Identify new markets, industries, and solution areas to grow into, and build business plans to increase market share

What you bring:

Required

• 5 years or more of sales experience in IT with a track record of hitting quota
• Authorization to work in the US
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and attention to detail
• Comfort with Microsoft Office, Excel and CRM tools
