Job Description

We are seeking a Vendor Management Analyst, Telecommunications to oversee enterprise telecom services, optimize telecom spend, drive operational excellence, and enable reliable communication capabilities across the organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence telecommunications strategy across a large, complex enterprise while partnering with business leaders, vendors, and technology teams to deliver value, cost savings, and service improvements.

As the Vendor Management Analyst, Telecommunications, you will be responsible for the governance, optimization, and continuous improvement of telecommunications services across JDI businesses. Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyze telecommunications spending, rate plans, service utilization, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor telecom usage trends and prepare recommendations that improve service delivery, user experience, and business value.
  • Develop and maintain telecom reports, dashboards, forecasts, budgets, and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Support Telecom Leads across business units by providing reporting, governance guidance, training materials, best practices, and escalation assistance.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of telecommunications assets, devices, lines, circuits, and services within platforms such as OBM, ServiceNow, Simplex, and Microsoft Intune.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with telecommunications regulations, corporate policies, security requirements, and industry standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through process standardization, automation opportunities, documentation, and adoption of enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow.
  • Develop and maintain supplier scorecards, operational reports, communications, and governance documentation.
  • Coordinate vendor governance activities including quarterly business reviews, service reviews, action item tracking, issue escalation support, and contract renewal planning.
  • Support telecommunications projects involving new services, providers, technology implementations, and business initiatives.
  • Build and maintain productive vendor relationships while monitoring supplier performance, service levels, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with Procurement, IT teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform analysis, and support sourcing initiatives and commercial discussions.
  • Assist with telecom budget planning, forecasting, invoice validation, and tracking of savings realized through optimization initiatives and vendor negotiations.
  • Monitor carrier, technology, and operational risks and support the development of mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Support telecom activities associated with acquisitions, divestitures, business integrations, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Research emerging telecommunications technologies, industry trends, and market developments, providing analysis and recommendations to Telecom Management
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience managing telecommunications services, telecom expense management, vendor management, procurement, or related discipline.
  • Knowledge of telecom operations, inventory management, service delivery, and cost optimization practices.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and working with multiple stakeholders across a large organization.
