What You'll Do

  • Serve as a primary liaison between Novant Health, vendors, partners, contract employees, and other third parties regarding vendor credentialing requirements and expectations.
  • Communicate Novant Health policies, procedures, credentialing requirements, and compliance expectations clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure incumbent vendors and third parties are properly vetted and remain compliant with Novant Health policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and monitor the new vendor intake process established by the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) team.
  • Use Green Security and other credentialing tools to manage and monitor vendor compliance.
  • Monitor vendor compliance and provide reporting to appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Identify compliance concerns, communicate issues promptly, and escalate appropriately when requirements are not met.
  • Develop recommendations and action plans to address compliance gaps and achieve measurable improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement of vendor credentialing processes while maintaining established policies, procedures, and risk controls.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, reports, procedures, training materials, and process documentation.
  • Lead or facilitate discussions with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and reach appropriate solutions.
  • Build professional, ethical, and productive long-term relationships with vendors and internal partners.
  • Represent Novant Health with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to quality.


What We're Looking For

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of vendor management experience required.
  • Compliance, credentialing, risk management, or process improvement experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Access, and experience with credentialing software.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with teams and committees.
  • Ability to manage challenging internal and external relationships professionally while maintaining a focus on results.
  • Ability to follow established policies, procedures, and processes consistently, while using sound judgment and escalating exceptions or concerns appropriately.
  • Ability to develop clear and informative procedures, training materials, flowcharts, and other process documentation.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to remain flexible and effective in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships and facilitate productive discussions with vendors, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Commitment to acting with honesty, integrity, and professionalism and reporting inappropriate, unethical, or non-compliant behavior.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid position with in-office work required approximately twice per month.
  • Occasional travel to Novant Health hospital facilities may be required.
