Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  • SupporttheGlobal DataTechnology(GDT)portfolio of contracts, including new agreements, amendments, and renewals of existing agreements

  • Supportannual softwarerenewals,forecasting,invoicing, and purchase orders

  • Supporttheappropriateprocurementactivitytosubmitand manageintake requestpost triage

  • Supportinvoice processingfor GDTleveragingexisting tools andshared services at Manulife

  • Develop andmaintainstandard operating procedures and documentation forGDTvendor management processes

  • Work withsoftwaresupportteams andkey stakeholderstoown andmaintainsoftwareplatformusersand assettracking tools

  • Create, own, andmaintainsoftware chargeback models to provide monthly cost allocations for Finance and business stakeholders

  • Prepare related reporting and analysis as needed, includingactive software contracts, licensing reviews and spend analysis

  • Supportthe governance model with relation to vendor engagements

  • Coordinateandfacilitatevendor meetings and eventsas needed

  • Conduct data analytics on vendorspendandidentifyoptimization opportunities

  • Manage data setsused for software and vendor management reporting and dashboards, ensuring data integrity and usability

  • Manage the centralized MS O365 Outlook team mailbox, ensuring timely triage and response to vendor-related inquiries

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experiencewithcontract terms and their legal implications and vendor performance metrics

  • An interest invendor management leading practices and processes

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel (e.g., lookups, pivot tables, structured analysis)

  • An interest inhow technology supports Manulife's strategy

  • Attentive to details, innovative and result-driven

  • An interest in working with numbers and creatingreusable templatesand procedures

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including drafting communications for broad stakeholder audiences

  • Familiarity withAI, cloud, and datatechnologies

  • Experience working with data analysis, reporting, and dashboards

  • Understands cross team structures, team cultures, cooperation & information sharing withinthe company

  • Understandinginternal processes and how to manageandexpediteoutcomes

  • Solution-oriented and continuously looking for process improvements

  • Able to work across teams to drive best outcomes

  • Learns from both successes and failures and applies insights to future work
