Were looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician whos confident with diagnostics, repairs, and MOTs. The job is full-time, based at a well-established independent garage with a steady flow of work and a solid reputation.
About the role
Youll be carrying out MOTs, servicing, diagnostics and general repairs on a mix of vehicles. Sometimes you may be asked to help out at a second site, which is just 3 miles away. The role is hands-on and busy, but the team works together well, and theres no pressure to rush jobs. The focus is on doing things properly.

Working hours
Monday to Friday, 7:30am 5:00pm
Key duties
Perform diagnostics, servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
Carry out MOT testing
Work efficiently without compromising on quality
Maintain high standards in line with industry regulations
Occasionally support a nearby workshop (within 3 miles)
Key requirements
Proven experience in a similar role (independent garage experience is a bonus)
MOT testing licence preferred but not essential
Good all-round mechanical knowledge and a practical, can-do mindset
Reliable, thorough, and confident working independently
