About the Role
As the Vehicle Personalisation Product and Retail Marketing Specialist, you will shape the future of vehicle customisation—one of the fastest-growing and most exciting sectors in the automotive industry. Sitting at the intersection of product strategy, digital commerce, retail marketing, and sales, you will own the entire customer customisation journey, from future vehicle planning and digital experiences to showroom execution and Dealer network management.
Reporting directly to the Accessories Marketing Manager, this position is based at our National Sales Company (NSC) in Richmond, Melbourne. This role operates under a hybrid work arrangement.
Manage and expand the current accessory portfolio to maximize average revenue per unit sold.
Secure early-stage alignment with future vehicle programs to guarantee 100% accessory availability at vehicle launch.
Drive accessory sales and dealer take rates by owning the promotional calendar and launching high-converting marketing campaigns.
Translate competitor analysis and sales trend data into actionable commercial strategies and deliver clear, visual performance reporting to key decision-makers.
Build brand advocacy by owning an integrated communication strategy across digital platforms, physical showrooms, and direct dealer networks.
Continuously audit and optimize the ford.com.au accessory pages to improve customer UX and online-to-offline lead generation.
Own the commercial sales plan, identifying and implementing new, innovative tactics to hit and exceed performance targets.
Support dealer network success and internal stakeholder alignment by serving as the primary operational and product expert.
Tertiary qualification required (Business, Marketing, or a similar field preferred).
Proven experience in product management, retail marketing, or category management (automotive, aftermarket, or consumer goods experience is highly preferred).
Demonstrable interest and experience in driving product strategy, digital commerce, and understanding core marketing principles.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate sales data and competitor trends into targeted action plans and performance reporting.
Excellent project and time management skills, with a proven ability to manage conflicting demands in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent relationship and communication skills: Proactive demonstration of ownership and accountability. Ability to influence and build strong relationships with internal cross-functional teams, Dealers, and external suppliers. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
