Eldora Mountain Resort is seeking a Summer Seasonal Vehicle Maintenance Track Worker. This hands-on role offers on-the-job training alongside experienced mechanics, performing inspections and repairs on snow cat tracks. It’s a great opportunity for someone mechanically inclined who’s eager to learn in a fast-paced, outdoor environment while supporting safe and reliable resort operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs basic repairs and maintenance on snowcat tracks.
Thoroughly inspect and document each track for damages.
Repair or replace damaged parts using basic hand, air and power tools.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Ability to follow direction.
Ability to work alone on some tasks; recognize unusual or hazardous conditions and take appropriate action to ensure safety.
Must be flexible and capable in adapting to all changing conditions.
Be able to fluently read, write, and speak the English language
Education and Experience:
High school degree or equivalent
Basic understanding of hand, air and power tools
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company MVR standards
Must be 18 years old to operate company vehicles
Physical Demands:
Bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling & prolonged standing
Eye/hand coordination & visual concentration on equipment
Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
Extended periods of outdoor exposure
Extreme cold, extreme heat and sun exposure
Variation in temperature from hot to cold
Ability to work outside in a mountain environment during harsh conditions
Compensation Proposed hiring rate of $20+/hour, depending on experience.
