Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $122,600.00 - $204,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
The Business Process Design & Improvement Senior Manager leads the long-term vision and execution of Vehicle Information capabilities in the One Marketplace initiative across inspections, condition reporting, data reuse, and end-to-end buyer and seller experiences, with enterprise and global impact. This role partners with senior leadership to define and deliver a multi-year strategy aligned to enterprise priorities.
Establishes standardized inspection principles while leveraging emerging technologies such as AI, computer vision, and advanced data platforms to improve accuracy, consistency, and scalability.
Acts as a strategic advisor across Product, Technology, Operations, Analytics, and Client teams to simplify complex processes, unlock data value, and drive the delivery of trusted, consistent vehicle condition intelligence across the marketplace.
Develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process solutions.
Researches best business practices within and outside the organization to learn new and emerging trends.
Benchmarks existing process data to aid in quantification of improvements.
Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced customer and employee experience, safety, increased productivity, reduced cost, and drive growth.
Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business and client service operations and processes.
Determines how new information technologies can support reengineering business operations and processes.
Monitors resource requirements, appropriate business KPI’s, quality and efficiency of customer and employee operations.
Defines requirements and test cases and supports solution development and deployment.
Collaborates with training resources to provide training on improved processes.
Focus on large cross functional business and process improvement projects.
Identifies and drives significant and complex projects with potentially global impact.
Engages with senior leadership to envision and drive the implementation of new, improved, and simplified approaches that have a positive long-term, cross-organizational, and cross-functional impact.
Engage with business units and other leaders on process assessment and redesign initiatives.
Consult with and advise other Business Process Analysts on approach, methods, and implementation tactics.
Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing strategies while actively contributing to teams that thrive in ambiguity, foster accountability and curiosity, and consistently deliver results in fast-changing environments.
Define and evolve a multi-year Vehicle Information (VI) strategy aligned to enterprise priorities, customer needs, and scalable operations.
Establish clear strategic principles for inspection, condition reporting, data reuse, automation, and AI-enabled vehicle condition intelligence.
Identify, evaluate, and help operationalize emerging technologies—including AI, computer vision, and data platforms—to improve accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
Lead the design, deployment, and continuous evolution of AI damage detection and advanced condition reporting capabilities.
Drive complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives that simplify VI processes, reduce variability, and accelerate time to value.
Translate strategy into actionable roadmaps, operating models, milestones, and success metrics with clear business impact.
Promote adoption of standardized frameworks, tools, and data models across inspection and condition reporting workflows to improve quality and scalability.
Partner with Enterprise Analytics and data science teams to unlock insights, enable effective data storytelling, and support data-driven decision making.
Establish governance models that ensure data integrity, clear ownership, and appropriate reuse of vehicle data across grading, pricing, recon, arbitration, search, and buyer decisioning.
Act as a trusted cross-functional leader by mentoring teams, influencing without authority, representing VI strategy in executive and client forums, and linking strategy to outcomes such as cost reduction, speed, customer satisfaction, and risk mitigation.
BS/BA degree with 8 years of experience in a related field; or MS degree + 6 years of experience in a related field; or Ph.D. + 3 years of experience in a related field.

25% travel is required.
Experience in automotive, logistics, inspection, assurance, or data‑intensive operational environments.
Familiarity with AI‑enabled decisioning, data platforms, or automation at scale.
Background working closely with product and technology teams in an agile environment.
Consulting background helping organizations improve performance, navigate change, or implement new technology.
