Objective:

Responsible for FMU-based simulation test bench development and virtual validation, then drive EE commissioning and integration on test benches and prototype vehicles through cross-functional and global collaboration.

• Create specification, design, setup, and maintenance of FMU-based simulation test benches for system and vehicle-level virtual validation.
• Own and execute EE commissioning of test benches and prototype vehicles, including hardware bring-up, network configuration, ECU flashing, software parameterization, and issue troubleshooting.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison with German engineering teams and key users to align requirements, methodologies, validation scope, and issue resolution processes.
• Coordinate system-level functional testing and support diagnostics/validation teams to ensure ECUs and network functions meet specifications.
• Develop commissioning plans, checklists, workflows, and documentation linking FMU development, virtual bench testing, physical bench commissioning, and vehicle commissioning.
• Manage technical delivery, risk tracking, reporting, and continuous process standardization for simulation and commissioning work packages.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in automotive EE development, including simulation/model-based testing and physical EE integration/commissioning; strong experience with HIL/test benches or prototype vehicle EE systems and cross-functional/global collaboration.
• Proficient in FMI/FMU standards and co-simulation tools; strong EE commissioning expertise including CAN/LIN/Ethernet troubleshooting, ECU flashing and diagnostics, electrical measurement/debugging, AUTOSAR/EE architecture understanding; scripting skills in Python, CAPL, or MATLAB; experience with measurement and diagnosis tools like CANoe, CANalyzer;
• Business fluent English, German desirable.
