Do you enjoy working outdoors and take pride in keeping public spaces looking their best?

Citycare Property is looking for an experienced Vegetation Operator to join our Porirua team. In this hands-on role, you will, complete line trimming and edging, Maintaining Porirua's outdoor spaces.

Working across scheduled and reactive jobs, you will operate ride-on and tractor-mounted mowers, care for vehicles and equipment, and provide professional service when interacting with customers and the public

What You’ll Be Doing | Ngā Kawenga Takohanga

  • Complete line trimming, hedge trimming and edging
  • Undertake chemical spraying, pruning and vegetation removal
  • Operate small equipment to maintain large open areas
  • Care for vehicles, tools and equipment
  • Work independently and as part of the wider team
  • Provide friendly and professional service to the public

What You’ll Bring to the Table| Ngā Mea ka Mauria e Koe ki te Rūnanga:

  • Relevant gardening, horticulture or vegetation maintenance experience
  • A full Class 1 Driver Licence
  • TMO, STMS or GrowSafe certification would be preferred,
  • The ability to work safely both independently and within a team
  • A reliable, practical and motivated approach
  • The desire to work outdoors in all weather conditions
