Job Description – L2 AMS Analyst (Veeva Vault QualityDocs)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled L2 AMS Analyst with hands-on experience in Veeva Vault QualityDocs to provide application support, incident resolution, configuration support, and enhancement activities within a regulated Life Sciences environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring stable operations of the QualityDocs platform, managing user queries, troubleshooting issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 application support for Veeva Vault QualityDocs.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, service requests, and system issues within agreed SLAs.
  • Support document lifecycle management, workflows, training assignments, and controlled document processes.
  • Investigate system defects, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with L3/Veeva support teams when required.
  • Manage user access, security roles, permissions, and document-related configurations.
  • Monitor application health, support queues, backlog, and service performance metrics.
  • Support document migrations, metadata updates, and bulk document management activities.
  • Assist in system enhancements, configuration changes, and release deployments.
  • Prepare impact assessments and participate in change management activities.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, knowledge articles, troubleshooting guides, and support documentation.
  • Execute validation support activities, including testing and defect tracking.
  • Participate in periodic reviews, audits, and compliance-related activities.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Compliance, Business, and IT stakeholders to drive operational excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3-6 years of experience in Application Support, AMS, or Quality Systems within Life Sciences.
  • Hands-on experience with Veeva Vault QualityDocs.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Document Control
  • Quality Document Management
  • Document Lifecycles
  • Workflows and Approval Processes
  • Periodic Reviews
  • Training Assignments
  • Controlled Documentation
  • Experience in incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Ability to analyze system issues and perform root cause investigations.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of GxP, GMP, and Quality compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of validation processes and documentation.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting other Veeva Vault Quality modules such as:
  • QMS
  • Training
  • CAPA
  • Deviations
  • Change Control
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Experience in AMS support engagements for pharmaceutical or biotech clients.
  • Exposure to Agile or DevOps-based support models.
