NorthHill Technology Resources has a need for a
VDI Engineer to support a Federal Program in
Springfield, VA. This is a

VDI Engineer
- Design and define system architecture for new or existing computer systems utilizing both on-premises and cloud-based hosting technologies
- Analyze requirements and system architectures to develop system requirements specifications and resulting design plans
- Administer, operate, manage and maintain components for on-premises and cloud-based virtualized systems
- Reviews completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and makes recommendations to management and/or clients
- Provide Tier 3 support for O&M and engineer activities
- Oversee and participated in several upgrades of Citrix applications
- Worked across teams to aid in implementing several methods for virtual application delivery to include AppV, AppVolumes, XenApp, SCCM
- Continuous troubleshooting of network and security issues that affect the VDI user experience
- Aided in the effort to upgrade all AppVolumes Server infrastructure to the latest version while maintaining availability
