Job Description

Essential Functions

  • Enforce all company policies and regulations.
  • Assist in budget for all facilities.
  • Communicate with customers, managers, and all employes in a professional manner.
  • Approve purchases.
  • Maintain QMS to ensure all standard requirements are met.
  • Assist with preparing annual operation budget.
  • Review weekly/monthly financial reports.
  • Review open A/R accounts.
  • Monitor controllable labor percentages/costs.

  • Ability to be fair and objective.
  • Ability to be a team player and assist with people across the port, including customers.
  • Effective communication skills.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has direct reports.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

80% of this position requires being outside to do operation checks.

Physical Demands

Light to moderate physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative or production/technical nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily 8 hours each day, Monday through Friday on a day shift. This position often requires overtime.

Travel

Minimal travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree (B.A) from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain eRailSafe certification.
