What you bring to the table
This position is part of Beck's Virtual Building Group. The VDC Engineer (Trade Code: VBG1) will be responsible for training and implementing Beck's Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) methodologies on multiple construction and design projects. Primary areas of focus are trade coordination, model analysis for project teams, model creation for project needs, and leveraging Beck's integrated workflows.
A successful applicant is someone who has a high-level understanding of BIM principles as well as a strong understanding of construction industry practices. The candidate should have confidence in the ability to visualize in 3D space – primarily as it relates to building structures, building envelopes, and building systems.

We are looking for someone with proficient knowledge of the VDC world. This individual should be comfortable implementing and executing standard practices on jobs ranging from 10 to 300 million dollars. An ideal candidate is someone who will bring personal experiences to the table but follow the company's established means and methods.
