Vantage Elevation is seeking a Ceiling Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble stainless steel and T-frame ceiling systems while ensuring products meet quality, safety, and delivery standards.

Position Summary
The Ceiling Assembler is responsible for assembling stainless steel and T-frame ceiling systems within a dedicated work cell. This role includes assembling stainless steel pans and T-frame ceilings with Lexan or pan inserts, installing hardware and lighting components, cutting and fitting Unistrut, completing required documentation, and coordinating with upstream metal forming and downstream shipping teams to ensure products meet quality, safety, and delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Assembling ceiling products including stainless steel pans and T-frame ceilings with Lexan or pan inserts according to drawings and work instructions
- Reading and following drawings, job packets, and sign-off checklists to ensure correct materials, hardware, and lighting are used
- Pre-cutting Unistrut to specified lengths using metal-cutting saws and other shop equipment and deburring components as required
- Installing and fastening Unistrut, pans, T-frames, inserts, latches, and related hardware using drill presses, pneumatic tools, riveters, torque-controlled drivers, and hand tools
- Installing Man-D-Tec lighting and associated components while ensuring proper routing and securement
- Performing in-process checks for alignment, hardware counts, fit, and finish, correcting issues or escalating when needed
- Completing required documentation and sign-off sheets verifying installation and inspection of all components
- Handling and moving materials safely using carts, stands, and proper lifting techniques
- Maintaining a clean and organized work cell and supporting 5S activities
- Communicating issues with parts, drawings, or processes to supervisors, engineering, or other departments
- Coordinating with the metal forming team regarding pan or component issues
- Notifying the shipping department when ceilings are complete and ready for crating
- Participating in cross-training within the department as needed
- Following all safety policies, PPE requirements, and proper equipment operation procedures
- Performing additional tasks as assigned to support production throughput and on-time delivery

Qualifications & Requirements
Required
- Entry-level; previous manufacturing, construction, or assembly experience helpful but not required
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math involving fractions
- Comfort using common hand and power tools such as drills, drivers, pneumatic tools, and metal cutting saws
- Ability to read and follow written instructions, simple drawings, and checklists
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and handle materials throughout the shift
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs independently and participate in team lifts for heavier components (no individual lifts over 75 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to raise questions when issues arise
- Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively within a team environment
Preferred
- Experience in metal fabrication, construction, or assembly of structural or panel-based products
- Familiarity with stainless steel handling, Unistrut framing, or basic electrical/lighting assembly
- Experience using production travelers, sign-off sheets, or assembly checklists
- Forklift experience or certification (a plus but not required)

Work Environment
- Manufacturing shop environment with exposure to noise, metal materials, and power tools
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Work primarily performed in a dedicated ceiling assembly work cell
- Frequent standing, walking, and material handling throughout the shift
- Regular collaboration with metal forming, engineering, and shipping departments
