VB.Net Developer – Onsite

Job Title: VB.Net Developer

Location: Mechanicsburg, PA

Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2

Salary Range: $80,000$ - 95,000$ per Annum

Experience Required: 6+ years

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, and MVC.
• Develop and maintain web applications using AngularJS.
• Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL and SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages.
• Use ADO.NET for database connectivity and data access.
• Develop and maintain business rules using Corticon.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, production issues, and performance problems.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement effective bug fixes.
• Provide production support and resolve incidents within required timelines.
• Participate in application design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Use TFS for source control, work-item tracking, and code management.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, developers, and other technical teams.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with C# and VB.NET.
• Experience with ASP.NET and MVC.
• Experience with AngularJS and JavaScript.
• Strong Oracle PL/SQL and SQL skills.
• Experience with ADO.NET.
• Experience with Corticon or business rules engines.
• Experience with TFS / Team Foundation Server.
• Strong application debugging, troubleshooting, and production support experience.
• Good understanding of SDLC, application design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Prior State Government/Public Sector experience is preferred.
