In this role, you will:
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure end-to-end VAT compliance, including preparation of VAT returns and other VAT related reports for European countries;
Reconciliation of indirect tax balance sheet accounts;
Support VAT process standardization projects;
Support month-end closing procedure;
Support the local businesses and other finance departments in VAT related matters;
Ensure internal and external control processes;
Support internal/external VAT audits;
Meet all reporting deadlines;
Support issue resolution.
Required Qualifications

Fluent English
1-2 years of relevant experience
Understanding of European VAT and corresponding filing requirements
Good stakeholder management
Understanding of accounting principles
Strong Excel and data analytics skill set
SAP or equivalent ERP hands on knowledge is an advantage
Attention to detail and administrative tasks
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Positive self-starter willing to learn new skills and understand the business
Able and committed to meet deadlines and quality requirements
Ability to work effectively both as an individual and as a team member.
