Job Description

Vascular Health Partners is seeking motivated Registered Vascular Ultrasound Technologists for their established, growing vascular practice in Latham. This exciting position offers a unique opportunity for growth, development and new insights into the latest techniques in vascular surgery. This is a full time position: Monday through Friday 8 to 4:30. Opportunity to do 4, 10 hour shifts if interested.

**This position is eligible for up to a $3000 recruitment/retention bonus**

  • Vascular Health Partners is an office-based practice in a non-hospital setting!
  • This is a Monday to Friday position with No Call, No Weekends, and No Holidays!

Some responsibilities include:

  • Preparing reports which include test data and a written preliminary interpretation
  • Examinations including, but not limited to, extracranial cerebrovascular, upper and lower extremity arterial duplex and physiologic testing (PVR), upper and lower venous duplex, aorto-iliac, renal, mesenteric, dialysis access evaluation and preoperative vein mapping.

Compensation: $32.00 - 48.00 per hour

Qualifications

  • Successfully graduated from an accredited vascular ultrasound program or obtain the equivalent vascular experience.
  • Active certification required by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a registered vascular technologist (RVT) is required.
  • Must have solid knowledge base of anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics and pathology and how it relates to non-invasive vascular testing.
  • Experience performing vascular ultrasounds for at least 1 year is required.
