Job Requirements
• Degree Required: MD
• Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible within 2 years
• Board Certification Type:
• ABS in Vascular Surgery or SVS required
• ABVLM preferred
• Licensure: Active New York State license required
• Certifications Required: ACLS
• Telehealth Experience: Not required
• Experience: Prior vascular surgery and endovascular procedure experience required
Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide inpatient and outpatient vascular surgery coverage
• Perform vascular and endovascular surgical procedures
• Manage post-operative patient care and complications
• Participate in light call coverage and weekend call rotation
• Collaborate with APPs and multidisciplinary care teams
• Document patient encounters and procedures within Meditech and eClinicalWorks EMR systems
• Provide weekend rounding as needed based on patient census
