Job Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Radiology is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank for renewable terms to add to our growing section of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Responsibilities will include the full spectrum of interventional radiology procedures with strong oncologic, hepatobiliary, transplant, trauma, vascular including CTA imaging, dialysis, non-vascular, portal venous, women’s, and pediatric interventional radiology services. Other duties will include training and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows. Remote academic days are included weekly. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications. This position is benefits-eligible. Appointees will join a vibrant and distinguished community of faculty colleagues and learners at UChicago Medicine, the Biological Sciences Division, the Pritzker School of Medicine, the University of Chicago, and its affiliates. They will also participate in a variety of interdisciplinary conferences and building collaborative relationships across campus and with community partners.

The Department of Radiology itself includes more than 80 full-time faculty members, clinical associates, and postdoctoral researchers. In addition to teaching medical students, residents and fellows, our faculty conduct cutting-edge translational and clinical research. Prior to the start of employment qualified individuals must: 1) be American Board of Radiology certified or eligible, 2) have an active medical license in the states of Illinois and Indiana, and 3) have completed a vascular/interventional radiology fellowship or IR/DR residency.
