REQUIRED PROCEDURES

  • Angioplasty

  • UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization)

  • Ortho, Gyn, Urology cases

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Board: BC in Interventional Radiology

  • Licenses: Active Michigan Medical License

  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS

  • Other Qualifications: Local provider preferred; travel providers considered if able to cover 2+ weeks per month; clean malpractice and license history; NPDB self-query required

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and uterine fibroid embolization.

  • Provide hospital-based IR services during day shifts (7a-5p, Mon-Fri) and participate in Q3 call rotation covering weekdays and weekends.

  • Collaborate with a team of 3 physicians and 2 APPs, providing consultation and follow-up care.

  • Manage cases involving vascular, orthopedic, gynecologic, and urologic conditions.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement activities.
