About the Role:

Reworks finished goods to fix manufacturing errors and do style changes. Make trim and change out labels.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Function

Reworks finished goods:

Reads work order, instructions.

• Inspects garments and examines repair tags and markings on garments to locate defects or damage, and marks errors as necessary.

Repairs tears or defects in fabrics and garments.

Cuts excess material or thread from finished products.

Selects supplies such as fasteners and thread, per job requirements.

Presses garment or fabric.

Identifies type of stain in fabrics.

Applies cleaning solvents.

Presses garment or fabric.

Hangs, folds, packages, and tags finished articles for shipment or storage.

Returns:

Reads work order, instructions.

• Inspects returned garments and determines whether item can be reclaimed/returned to stock.

Reworks finished goods as appropriate to reclaim.

Style Changes:

Removes labels and trim from specified garments.

Attaches labels and trim to specified garments, per item specifications.

Hangs, folds, packages, and tags finished articles for shipment or storage.

Record quantities of materials processed.

Education and Certifications

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.

Experience and Skills

More than (6) months, but less than (1) year of relevant work experience.
