What will you do?

The Project Manager, Digital Commerce serves as the connective hub across eCommerce, technology, and business teams to drive the successful delivery of digital initiatives. Reporting directly into the Head of eCommerce for AMER, this role owns end-to-end project execution - from intake and requirements through development, testing, and launch - ensuring seamless coordination across stakeholders to deliver high-quality, consumer-centric experiences. Operating at the intersection of execution and strategy, this role translates business priorities and digital roadmap initiatives into actionable plans, while leveraging data, insights, and continuous improvement to enhance site performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency. This is a hybrid role, working 3 days/week from our Costa Mesa, CA headquarters.

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

  • Own end-to-end project delivery: Manage digital commerce initiatives across planning, requirements, development, QA, UAT, and launch to ensure on-time, high-quality execution.

  • Drive cross-functional alignment: Serve as the central point of coordination across eCommerce, product, technology, marketing, merchandising, and external partners.

  • Translate strategy into execution: Convert strategic priorities and roadmap initiatives into clear project plans, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Lead agile project management: Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and workflow tracking across tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

  • Manage requirements and documentation: Gather, define, and maintain detailed business and functional requirements, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.

  • Drive communication and stakeholder visibility: Lead status updates, project communications, and executive reporting to ensure transparency and alignment.

  • Monitor performance and continuous improvement: Track post-launch performance and identify opportunities to optimize processes, site experience, and operational efficiency.

  • Support roadmap prioritization: Partner with strategy and analytics teams to evaluate initiatives based on business impact, feasibility, and customer value.

  • Enable a culture of operational excellence: Continuously improve workflows, tools, and processes to increase speed, quality, and scalability of digital delivery.

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 4+ years of experience and professional achievements.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

  • Project management expertise: Strong experience managing end-to-end digital or eCommerce projects in agile environments.

  • Agile & tools proficiency: Working knowledge of agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Smartsheets.

  • Digital commerce acumen: Understanding of eCommerce platforms, customer journeys, and digital product lifecycles.

  • Strategic thinking & prioritization: Ability to connect project execution to broader business goals and make trade-off decisions.

  • Data-driven mindset: Comfort using analytics, insights, and performance metrics to inform decisions and improvements.

  • Cross-functional leadership: Proven ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders across business and technical teams.

  • Communication & storytelling: Strong ability to simplify complexity and communicate clearly to all levels of the organization.

  • Organization & execution rigor: Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
