Job Description

Mercedes-Benz | Sprinter Van | Luxury & Hospitality | B2B | Paid Training/Certifications | Vancouver, WA

Are you a skilled technician who takes pride in precision work and wants to represent one of the most respected automotive brands in the world? The Mercedes-Benz Van Center of Vancouver is looking for a talented, detail-oriented Service Technician to join our founding team. This is a rare opportunity to get in on the ground-floor — help us build a world-class service operation from the ground up.

ABOUT MERCEDES-BENZ VAN CENTER OF VANCOUVER

The Mercedes-Benz Van Center of Vancouver is a brand-new, dedicated Sprinter Van Center opening in September 2026 in the heart of the Vancouver/Portland metro area. We're not just another dealership — we're a purpose-built facility focused exclusively on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, serving businesses, commercial fleets, adventure enthusiasts, and hospitality partners across the Pacific Northwest.

You won't be inheriting someone else's culture or fitting into an existing mold — you'll be helping to build it. We believe that exceptional hospitality isn't just for guests; it starts with how we treat each other and every person who walks through our doors.

At our Van Center, hospitality is a core value — not a department. Every team member plays a role in delivering an experience that is warm, professional, and genuinely different from anything in our market.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans to factory standards
• Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and communicate findings clearly to Service Advisors
• Execute warranty and recall repair procedures in compliance with Mercedes-Benz guidelines
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner in our DMS
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in your service bay
• Stay current with Mercedes-Benz technical service bulletins and training requirements
• Collaborate with the service team to deliver a seamless, hospitality-first customer experience
• Uphold our commitment to quality — every vehicle that leaves your bay reflects our brand

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of automotive technician experience; Mercedes-Benz or European vehicle experience highly preferred
• ASE certification(s) preferred; willingness to obtain Mercedes-Benz StarTEK certification
• Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems
• Experience with diagnostic software and scan tools
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to first-time fix quality
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• A professional, customer-aware attitude — you'll be part of a hospitality-first culture

COMPENSATION & STRUCTURE

• Competitive flat-rate or hourly compensation depending on experience and certification level
• Structured ramp-up period to support your transition into a new brand and facility
• Performance bonuses and technician recognition programs

WHY JOIN OUR FOUNDING TEAM?

• Ground-floor opportunity to shape the culture, processes, and standards of a brand-new operation
• Represent one of the world's most iconic luxury brands
• Competitive compensation package with performance-based incentives
• Manufacturer-supported training and Mercedes-Benz certification opportunities
• Collaborative, hospitality-first culture where your contributions are seen and valued
• Serve a thriving and growing commercial market in one of the Pacific Northwest's fastest-growing corridors
• Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and paid time off
• Career growth potential as the business grows and scales
