Permanent Van Driver Position - Home Delivery Service
Location Kingston Milton Keynes
Salary £13.00 per hour

Are you looking for a stable and rewarding job with a growing home delivery company? Join our team as a Van Driver and play a key role in delivering home furniture to customers across various locations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Delivering furniture and goods to customers' homes and businesses.
  • Communicating with customers prior to arrival to confirm delivery times.
  • Safely unloading and unpacking items at customers' locations.
  • Completing necessary paperwork as required.
  • Working as part of a two-man crew, providing excellent customer service.
  • Off-loading at the end of the day and reloading for the following day's deliveries.

Requirements

  • Experience in home delivery or similar roles is essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • A clean, full UK driving licence (No DR or IN endorsements).
  • Must be 25 or over for insurance purposes.
  • Physically fit to handle heavy lifting.
  • Professional appearance and excellent communication skills at all levels within the company.
  • Flexibility in work hours, as shifts may start between 4am and 6am, with finish times around 4:30pm (subject to traffic and delivery schedules).
  • Always presentable
  • Able to clearly and professional commutate with all levels of staff within the business

Benefits

Additional Information

  • Monday to Friday shifts, with the possibility of Saturday work if needed.
  • £13.00 per hour for all hours worked.
  • The start time may vary, so flexibility is required.
