
Branch ISD is seeking a dependable and compassionate Special Education Van Driver to safely transport students to and from school and other designated locations. The ideal candidate will be patient, responsible, safety-minded, and comfortable working with students who may have a variety of educational and support needs. Responsibilities include operating a school van safely, following assigned routes and schedules, assisting students as needed, maintaining a safe and orderly vehicle, and communicating effectively with school staff and families regarding transportation needs.
A strong commitment to student safety, confidentiality, reliability, and positive relationships with students and staff is essential. Appropriate licensing and/or required training will be necessary based on district and state requirements.
Wage Range: $17.16 � $22.97 per hour

Branch ISD operates Branch Area Careers Center, Special Education, Head Start, Early Head Start, Great Start School Readiness, Early On and the Family Success Program to three constituent school districts and one public school academy.
Branch ISD maintains working relationships/partnerships with the following organizations:
Barry and Calhoun ISDs
Kalamazoo and Wayne Regional Educational Service Agencies
Kellogg Community College, KCC-Grahl Center, and articulation agreements with colleges/universities
Branch ISD also works closely with regional health and human service agencies, county government, chambers of commerce and various business and industrial groups as well as cultural and arts groups to further enhance the educational opportunities in the area.
