Job Description

Duties Include:

  • Repair all Crown and OEM valve equipment to Stream-Flo’s standards based on equipment type
  • Tear down, reassemble and troubleshoot valve equipment for repair
  • Test, grease, inspect, and stamp valves
  • Maintain accurate database and documentation
  • Calibrate, function test, and troubleshoot choke valves and a variety of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric positioners and actuation
  • Record non-conformances as required
  • Inform Supervisor /Lead Hand of any irregularities with orders or equipment
  • Assist with shop housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned

Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:

  • High School Diploma with related valve repair, rebuild and/or teardown experience an asset
  • Knowledge of Stream-Flo and/or competitor’s equipment an asset
  • Mechanically inclined; basic understanding of hand and power tool functionality
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Good communication (oral and written), interpersonal, customer service, and problem solving skills
  • Well organized with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced team environment
