STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a skilled Value Stream Manager (Rigid) to coordinate the technical and mechanical operations of the production processes; supervise and control production activities, review, develop, and utilize statistical data to project manpower and capacity requirements, meet cost, quality, schedule goals and objectives of the Company. Direct and coordinates activities of production department(s) in processing materials or manufacturing products in industrial organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages 2-3 subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 20-30 employees in the Production cells; Furnace Vacuum; Inspection; Chemical Clean and NDT, X Ray,. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Also directly supervises 3-4 non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
