Responsible for driving operational excellence through industrial engineering methodologies, process optimization, and performance management. This role focuses on improving productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and delivery by analyzing workflows, eliminating waste, and implementing data-driven decisions using key performance indicators (KPIs).The position partners cross-functionally to ensure continuous improvement initiatives align with business objectives, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and sustainable growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
2. Analyze end-to-end processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste.
3. Design and implement optimized workflows to improve productivity and throughput.
4. Conduct time studies and work measurement analysis to establish accurate labor standards.
5. Perform line balancing and capacity analysis to maximize operational efficiency.
6. Develop and maintain standardized work procedures and process documentation.
7. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance.
8. Develop dashboards and visual management tools for real-time KPI monitoring.
9. Identify performance gaps and lead root cause analysis using structured problem-solving tools.
10. Implement corrective and preventive actions to sustain performance improvements.
11. Analyze production data to drive decision-making and operational strategies.
12. Support forecasting and production planning through capacity and demand analysis.
13. Optimize labor utilization and staffing models based on production needs.
14. Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
15. Facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops to drive engagement.
16. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
17. Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement efficiency improvement initiatives.
18. Reduce waste across processes including time, material, and motion (Lean principles).
19. Ensure compliance with company standards, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
20. Prepare and present performance reports, KPI results, and improvement action plans to leadership.
21. Train and mentor employees on Lean tools, KPI tracking, and problem-solving methodologies.
22. Support new product introductions through process design and capacity planning.
23. Evaluate and justify capital investments through cost-benefit and ROI analysis.
24. Drive standardization and sustainment of best practices across the value stream.
Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal relations skills. Must be knowledgeable of Baxter specifications and procedures. Strong knowledge of Baxter manufacturing process. Knowledge on GMP-QSR’S, OSHA, BHEST, SPEC, SOP and HR policies. Work closely with other departments administrative and managers. Keeps good communication upward and downward the administrative chain of command. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, employees and internal or external audits.

Light Work Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Physical demands requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or related field with more than three (3) years of supervisory experience or Operational Excellence roles are acceptable. Previous experience in a regulated manufacturing FDA environment is preferred.
