Value & Access Manager

Shape market access strategies that bring life-changing treatments to the patients who need them most.

Your new role

As a Value & Access Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring Novo Nordisk's portfolio successfully reaches patients across the UK. From pre-launch planning to lifecycle management, you'll develop strategies, tools and programs that enable market entry and drive sustainable access to our medicines.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating market access campaigns, tools and services in collaboration with marketing and field-based teams to ensure successful and timely Market Access and uptake across the Novo Nordisk portfolio
  • Developing innovative solutions and programs for field market access teams to use with key strategic accounts, aligned to identified customer needs
  • Leading pre-launch market access planning and lifecycle management, including loss of exclusivity strategies for legacy brands
  • Representing Market Access with European and Global Teams on product workstreams to develop timely and quality affiliate-level market access strategies and tactical plans
  • Setting up and executing payer advisory boards for your accountable portfolio, whilst identifying key collaboration opportunities with the NHS at regional level
  • Collaborating with HEOR, CMR, pricing, and Legal & Compliance teams to ensure campaigns meet both customer needs and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting payer customers in understanding the value of Novo Nordisk medicines through real world evidence data collection solutions

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for an experienced market access professional who thrives in complex, strategic environments. You'll bring with you:

  • Degree level education or equivalent, preferably within Social/Health Sciences or Business, with proven experience in Market Access;
  • Proven successful track record of broad-based market access, policy or pharmaceutical experience from in-house and/or agency environment
  • Demonstrable experience of successful pre-launch market access planning, preferably in diabetes or related therapy areas
  • Deep understanding of the UK healthcare and reimbursement system, with solid knowledge of market access theory and practice
  • Strong strategic planning and strategy execution skills, with the ability to create comprehensive Market Access strategies for brands
  • Experience of biosimilar markets, originator strategy development, and commercial pricing and tendering within industry or NHS
  • Excellent influencing, presentation and training skills, with advanced oral, written and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the UK and Europe as required
  • ABPI certification and experience with approval processes for materials advantageous
