
The Validation Systems Integration Engineer – Machine Head will drive technical development and management of validation and testing within the MH Subsystem. They are the first point of contact for subsystem test management including technical definition, quality, and deliverables.
The engineer will provide technical guidance and team leadership/coordination on validation test definition and execution from concept through completion, as well as contributing to continuous improvement in test methodologies and execution.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide validation test input to all phases of product development, from requirements definition through design and development, new release validation, and fleet validation.
Lead and/or oversee component and sub-system test management activities including planning, integration, equipment readiness, execution, and post processing of data.
Parter with MH SIL to plan and deliver robust validation solutions in line with program schedules.
Work with design engineers and suppliers.
Monitor and work with all components and systems across the machine head and across all platforms, impacting many of the most critical areas of our products.
Communicate and provide recommendations through analysis, preparation, and presentation of technical material to internal and external audiences.
Lead Mechanical subsystem problem solving, verification, validation and risk mitigation activities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in an Engineering discipline
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience working on wind turbine engineering projects, issues and/or technologies, validation, testing, or similar.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $80,000.00 and $120,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
