Job Description

Concierge/Valet/Receiving Dock – Luxury High-rise Condominium

As a member of the Resident Services Department, the Concierge/Valet must have strong communication, telephone, and customer service skills, be detail-oriented, and able to multitask. In this position, you must have an approachable and friendly attitude, able to meet and greet residents, guests, and service providers. Able to recognize and react to emergency situations, monitor, and operate electronic security control systems and accurately maintain daily logs, records, and forms. Resident Services Department members are cross-trained to perform duties as concierge, valet parking vehicles, and receiving dock coordinator.

Position Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
  • Monitor emergency response systems.
  • Greet residents, guests, and invitees.
  • Ability to quickly remember and recall names and faces.
  • Monitor and control electronic security control systems.
  • Valet park a wide range of vehicles.
  • Respond to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain daily log, records, and forms.
  • Resolve and follow up on complaint issues.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

Compensation:

$20.00/hr; direct experience highly considered.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility in a safe and satisfactory manner, must be punctual and well-groomed, maintain an excellent attendance record, and have reliable means of transportation to work.

Education/Experience/Knowledge

  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • Concierge experience preferred.
  • Valet experience is preferred.
  • Typing and computer skills preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English required. Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong customer service communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Veteran and/or Law Enforcement background is a plus.

Special Requirements

  • Ability to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to lift 25-30 lbs.
  • Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.
  • Handle, grasp, and lift objects and packages.
  • Reach with hands and arms.
  • Communicate, receive, and exchange information by means of the spoken and written word.
  • Ability to quickly navigate the property and building as required to meet the job functions.
