The Colcord Hotel is hiring for a Valet Supervisor.

• Supporting and supervising the Valet team while helping ensure consistently exceptional service.
• Safely and efficiently parking vehicles in designated areas and ensuring vehicles are locked and keys are properly secured in the valet booth.
• Safely and efficiently retrieving vehicles and matching claim ticket numbers to ensure the correct vehicle is returned to each guest.
• Inspecting the exterior of incoming vehicles and accurately documenting any existing damage on the valet ticket.
• Greeting every guest arriving at the front drive with a warm welcome, eye contact, and genuine hospitality.
• Opening and closing vehicle doors for arriving and departing guests.
• Assisting guests with luggage, packages, trunks, and other belongings using baggage carts or by hand.
• Assisting guests with loading and unloading luggage and passengers.
• Asking guests if they need directions or additional assistance and providing helpful information.
• Providing guests with information about parking services, fees, hotel outlets, daily functions, events, and nearby points of interest.
• Assisting guests with special needs and providing additional support to physically challenged travelers when needed.
• Anticipating guest needs and looking for opportunities to provide thoughtful service before being asked.
• Maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, and organization of the front drive and parking areas.
• Staying aware of activity on the front drive and proactively identifying opportunities to assist guests.
• Communicating professionally and graciously with guests, visitors, coworkers, and leadership.
• Responding to guest questions and resolving service concerns promptly and professionally.
• Supporting the team during busy arrival and departure periods by safely running or jogging to and from parking areas when retrieving vehicles.
• Helping maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming valet operation throughout the shift.
• Supporting additional valet responsibilities and operational needs as directed by Management.

Education and Experience
• Minimum of one year of previous valet and/or customer service experience required.
• Previous valet supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to successfully pass the company's annual MVR screening.
• No more than one moving violation within a two-year period.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers, and leadership.
• Ability to provide directions and information about the hotel and surrounding Oklahoma City area.
• Ability to lead by example and support fellow Valet Curators during busy operations.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business needs.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and maintain well-paced mobility for up to four hours at a time.
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull carts and other equipment weighing up to 250 pounds.
• Ability to run or jog up to 500 yards multiple times throughout the day when retrieving and parking guest vehicles.
• Ability to frequently enter and exit guest vehicles throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely work around moving vehicles and maintain constant awareness of guest, vehicle, and employee safety.
• Ability to assist with luggage, packages, and other guest belongings.
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and other inclement conditions.
• Valet operations may continue during inclement weather, and Curators are expected to report for scheduled shifts unless otherwise directed by Management.
• Ability to maintain a professional and welcoming presence while working in a highly visible, guest-facing environment.
• Must wear comfortable, closed-toe, non-skid shoes while working.
