Location:JMS Burn Center

Pay rate: $15.00/hour

Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:30am-4:00pm

Must have a valid Driver's License & clean MVR (driving record)

Responsible for providing a personal vehicle parking and retrieval service for guests while offering excellent customer service. Valet attendants stand in front of the location, obtain keys from drivers, help with any items or luggage,maintainwheelchair availability, and then drive the vehicle to a parking lot, or parking space near the establishment. When the vehicle owner returns, valets retrieve thevehicle, andhelpsthe owner into their vehicle.

  • Park and retrieve vehicles

  • Greet customers in a courteous manner

  • The person in this positionfrequentlycommunicates with customers and staff who have general inquiries about parking, parking locations, and customer service inquires

  • Manage parking area (barricades, directing traffic, etc.)

  • Manage wheelchair inventory to ensure availability for guests

  • Hand outclaimtickets

  • Manage keys

  • Must be able to perform basic math without use of a calculator

  • Assistimmediate team members with other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED

  • Possess valid driver’s license

  • Able to pass a 7 year / 7 county criminal background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening

  • Previouscustomer service experience is preferred

  • The ability to drive a standard transmission is preferred

  • Must successfully complete the Defensive and Distracted Driving Courses

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extendedperiod of time

  • Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions

  • Must followappropriate groomingstandards

  • Must be able tolift upto 50 pounds or constantly lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects

  • Must have visual acuity todeterminethe accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned

  • Must be able to speak clearly to convey detailed information/instructions to coworkers accurately, clearly, and quickly

  • Performs other duties assigned

  • Must be able to ascend and descend two flights of stairs with a sense of urgency
