Greeting all patrons and responding to their questions.
Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
Knowledge of all special events and promotions available to guests.
Files guest’s keys and tickets systematically to ensure efficient retrieval of guest’s vehicles.
Ensures files are properly maintained to reflect the location of all vehicles parked in the valet parking locations.
Ensures Valet Attendants have completed parking tickets correctly.
Maintains records of total cars parked and delivered by each attendant and overall totals for the day.
Offers information to guests regarding directions, transportation, and Total Gold. Maintains a complete supply of brochures, valet tickets, office supplies and any other promotional information that the property is distributing.
Assists in the coatroom based upon business levels.
Responsible for assigned cash drawer and is accountable for such funds
through audit and financial controls.
Complies with all uniform and appearance guidelines.
Adheres with all internal control procedures, Company policies and procedures.
All other duties as assigned.
Offer a warm and sincere greeting to all arriving and departing guest and visitor vehicles as they enter or exit parking areas.
Maintain a basic knowledge of the hotel’s services, events, and layout to ensure guests are given complete and accurate information and directions as requested or required.
Maintain a basic knowledge of the surrounding city area and freeway access to provide accurate information and /or directions as requested.
Respond to all guest/visitor inquiries and resolve service discrepancies accordingly.
Maintain an alert, professional posture in the cashier booth when not actively engaged with a guest.
Possess thorough knowledge of parking fee structures, special event/group discounted parking, monthly passes and all validation procedures.
Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers.
Must present well-groomed professional appearance.
Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
Requires seldom sitting, kneeling, lifting/carrying of 51-100 lbs.; occasional bending, reaching, and crouching
Copying & writing of numbers
Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity as well as the ability to distinguish letters, symbols and currency
Work area is subject to variable temperatures.
Valid Driver’s License
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Prior cashier/general office experience and customer contact experience is preferred.
Must have strong customer service, written/verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
Is able to work in smoke filled environment, and is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
HS diploma or GED.
Casino/Hotel experience preferred.
Experience within an upscale hotel preferred.
Experience as a Bell Attendant, Valet or related hotel positions preferred.
