Job Description

This position typically starts at $13.75 per hour plus tips and works a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members begin accruing PTO starting on day one, and fulltime employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days.

This job is all about bringing the fun from the moment guests arrive, greeting everyone with a big smile and great energy. You’ll be the hero who opens doors, handles keys, and parks cars with confidence and style. Every vehicle becomes a mini‑mission as you check for details, keep things safe, and move quickly. You’ll help guests with luggage, solve problems with positivity, and make every interaction feel lucky. It’s a fast‑paced role where you keep the vibe upbeat and help set the tone for an amazing Harrah’s experience

  • Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrives on time in a clean uniform with required name tag, ID, and licenses, ready to work with a positive, readytolearn attitude.

  • Greets guests and team members warmly and professionally, supporting our Family Style Service culture.

  • Works a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

  • Greet each guest as they arrive with enthusiasm and a smile.
  • Make sure you open doors for all guests, men and women.
  • Safely park the vehicle in the designated Valet parking spot/ or directed by Management Team, make sure the windows are rolled up, keys are in hand and lock the doors.
  • Prior to parking vehicle, quickly check it for damage, dents, scratches, broken glass, and document the damage seen on the vehicle ticket.
  • Attendants will be responsible for ticketing on the drive.
  • Assist with transport baggage of arriving/departing guests if necessary.
  • Retrieve vehicles in a safe and timely manner, opening the doors for guests and thanking them for coming to Harrah’s.
  • Make sure each guest receives a claim ticket and a ticket must be collected upon retrieval of vehicle.
  • Handle customer interaction, complaints and challenging situations while maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude.
  • Creates a positive and “luck building” environment for guests and other employees.

  • Must be at least 18 yrs. of age.

  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.

  • Communicates effectively and maintains positive working relationships with guests, coworkers, and management.

  • Report to work in a neat and clean uniform, with slip resistant shoes. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.

  • Must pass background check, driving background check.
  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Minimum six months to a year cash handling experience strongly preferred within high volume industries.
  • Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a loud, fastpaced environment while handling multiple tasks under time constraints.

  • Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.

  • Must be able to work independently along with a team mentality.
  • Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs or more.
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift.
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
  • Is able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
  • Must be able to maneuver around office areas, effectively work in high traffic areas and responds to visual and aural cues
