Valet Attendant

Wentworth by the Sea Resort and Spa is seeking professional, energetic, and guest-focused individuals to join our team as Valet Attendants. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, Valet Attendants create exceptional arrival and departure experiences while serving as knowledgeable resources throughout each guest’s stay.

Key responsibilities of Valet Attendants include but are not limited to:

• Promptly greeting guests with a warm, professional welcome.
• Open vehicles and hotel doors and assist guests with luggage and personal belongings.
• Provide information about resort services, amenities, dining, and local attractions.
• Assist guests with directions, taxis, and rideshare coordination.
• Deliver guest items, amenities, and gift bags as requested.
• Maintain a friendly, polished, and professional demeanor at all times.

Successful candidates for Valet Attendant should be able to safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely manner, operate vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions, keep track of guest vehicle documentation, securely store guest keys, direct traffic to maintain safety and organization of the front drive, follow all traffic laws and resort policies.

Successful Valet Attendant candidates should also be able to safely operate the Wentworth Resort shuttle. The shuttle is used to transport guests to approved locations. Our shuttle operators are tasked with inspecting the shuttle to ensure vehicle maintenance is performed on a regular basis.

Qualified candidates for Valet Attendant should possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Candidates should also be able to communicate clearly and professionally in English. Valet Attendants sometimes need to walk, run, bend and lift up to 50 pounds. Weekend, night and holiday availability is also a necessity.
