Super Products is currently accepting applications for a Vacuum Truck Demonstrator / Trainer. The Vacuum Truck Demonstrator / Trainer provides hands-on training, demonstrations, and technical support to customers, distributors, and the sales team on the proper operation and maintenance of Super Products’ vacuum truck equipment. This role involves extensive travel (up to 80%) and serves as a key technical resource for both internal departments and external partners.

The Equipment Trainer/Demonstrator is a primary resource to domestic and international customer, domestic and international distributors and the Super Product sales team by way of providing demonstrations, education and instruction on the proper operation, application and maintenance of equipment manufactured and sold by Super Products. The Equipment Trainer/Demonstrator is a resource to support other Super Product departments when not engaged in a training, demonstration or Sales and Marketing Department assignment.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Provide an overview of the equipment features and operation.
  • Instruction on the correct procedures, operation and maintenance of the equipment.
  • Provide the end user with supervised hands-on participation in the training process.
  • Review scheduled maintenance procedures with appropriate personnel.
  • Present and explain repair, replacement and maintenance parts needs for each piece of equipment.
  • Report any quality issues with equipment and assist Customer Service Support with troubleshooting and problem remediation.
  • Documentation and distribution of customer and distributor input and feedback.
  • Function as a resource to customers and distributors after demonstration and/or training to ensure consistency and continuity in proper operation, application and maintenance.
  • Maintain demonstrator units in proper working order and in made-ready condition for pending demonstrations or exhibits.
  • Assist as needed with set-up of equipment for expositions and trade shows.
  • When not on demonstration, training or other Sales and Marketing department assignment, function as a resource within and under the direction of other Super Products departments including Customer Service Support and Production.
  • Properly and accurately maintain D.O.T. logbook and fuel mileage report.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):

  • Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally up to 80% of the time.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, presents a pleasant and professional demeanor at all times.
  • High technical acumen and the ability to apply assimilated technical knowledge in an accurate and practical manner.
  • Must be comfortable conducting business over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to lift in excess of 70 pounds

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum Education: High School degree or GED equivalent.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience operating truck-mounted vacuum equipment.
  • CDL Class B license, with air brakes and tanker endorsement
  • Excellent driving record (D.O.T.)
