The Role

We are searching for an exceptional V-Wave Clinical Consultant (d/f/m) to join our VWAVE Germany team on a full-time basis.

This is a role for someone who thrives under pressure, loves being at the center of the action, and genuinely cares about patients and people alike. You will be a core member of a small, high-performing team — present in the catheter lab, side by side with physicians, and instrumental in making every procedure a success.

The role is open to candidates based anywhere in Germany, as nationwide travel is a fundamental part of this position. A company car will be provided.

What You Will Do

Your primary responsibility is direct clinical support in the catheter lab and sterile field — this is where you will spend the majority of your time and where your impact will be greatest.

Clinical Support (Primary Focus)

• Provide hands-on procedural support in the catheter lab, including scrubbing in and working directly in the sterile field during V-Wave device implantations
• Act as the clinical expert on-site during commercial cases, supporting physicians with device preparation, handling, and real-time procedural guidance
• Build trusted relationships with cath lab staff, interventional cardiologists, and heart failure teams to ensure seamless case execution
• Respond rapidly and calmly to procedural challenges — your composure and clinical expertise will be a critical asset in high-pressure environments
• Ensure all clinical activities are fully aligned with current Instructions for Use (IFU) and applicable safety standards

Commercial Support (Secondary Focus)

• Support the sales team during customer visits and sales calls, bringing credible clinical insight to commercial conversations
• Help identify and develop new customer relationships by serving as a trusted clinical partner to physicians and hospital staff
• Contribute to account development by understanding customer needs and translating them into clinical and commercial opportunities
• Represent V-Wave with professionalism, enthusiasm, and deep product knowledge at customer-facing events, conferences, and training sessions

Team & Knowledge Sharing

• Collaborate closely with colleagues across clinical, commercial, and medical affairs functions — this is a team where everyone supports each other
• Share clinical learnings and best practices with the broader team to continuously raise the bar
• Support onboarding of new team members with clinical knowledge and procedural experience where needed
• Maintain accurate case documentation and adhere to all compliance requirements

What We Are Looking For

Essential Qualifications

• Clinical background is non-negotiable: you are a registered nurse, cath lab technician, intensive care nurse, medical engineer with OR/cath lab experience, or equivalent
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in a catheter lab, ICU, CCU, cardiac surgery, or interventional cardiology environment
• Comfort and confidence working in the sterile field — you know the protocols, you respect the environment, and you perform under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills — you connect easily with physicians, nurses, and colleagues at all levels
• Highly motivated self-starter who takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what to do
• Native fluency in German is essential — you will be working closely with German-speaking physicians, cath lab teams, and hospital staff on a daily basis
• Professional proficiency in English is required for internal communication and documentation
• Willingness to travel extensively across Germany (minimum 75%)

Advantageous Qualifications

• Experience in or genuine interest in a commercial/sales environment — you understand that clinical credibility and business development go hand in hand
• Previous exposure to structural heart, heart failure, or interatrial shunting procedures
• Experience with cardiac imaging (echo, fluoroscopy)
• Background in a MedTech or medical device company in a field-based role

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€66.500,00 - €107.065,00
