At Balanced Body, we believe that movement changes lives. For nearly 50 years, we’ve been the global leader in Pilates equipment and education, blending mindful movement with world-class engineering. From our solar-powered headquarters in Sacramento, we manufacture premium equipment that empowers people to feel better and move more freely.
We are looking for a creative, highly skilled, and strategically minded UI/UX Product Designer to join our growing marketing team.
Please note: This is fundamentally a design role, not a software development role. Your primary responsibility is the end-to-end visual and interactive design of our digital products—from user research and wireframing to creating high-fidelity prototypes. While you will be responsible for final front-end implementation and visual customization within our content management systems (WordPress and Shopify), you will not be writing backend code.
You will report directly to the Marketing Manager and work closely alongside our dedicated web development team, acting as the primary bridge to ensure your visual designs are executed flawlessly in production.

Balanced Body® believes that movement can change people’s lives. We are the leading resource for Pilates equipment, information and education for fitness centers, studios, rehabilitation facilities and home enthusiasts. Founded in 1976, the company was the first to substantially update Joseph Pilates' equipment with state-of-the-art engineering, materials and technology. Headquartered in Sacramento, Calif., where all its equipment is designed and manufactured, the company actively promotes Pilates to the fitness industry, the medical profession and the media. The company established the 1-800-PILATES service and online Studio Finder to help the public locate instructors and studios in their area. This free service refers more than 1,000 clients a month to instructors and studios internationally.
