Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

You will integrate as part of the team and our product release cycle. You will communicate and working with team members to create user interface designs and user experience solutions for new and existing software products. THE PERSON:

You are an enthusiastic UX/UI designer with a passion for PC and console gaming. You are an out-of-the-box thinker that loves technology at an enthusiast level. You have a strong track record of delivering results and a portfolio of shipped product UX/UI work for PC and mobile software applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and own user interface and user experience for AMD software:

• Work with product managers and developers to understand and define new features and update existing features in our products.
• Define the user interaction and flow of features for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to create compelling designs.
• Review, present and communicate your designs with key stakeholders.
• Lead research, design, and user focus testing efforts to improve the overall AMD Software experience.
• Deliver results in an effective and timely manner, while providing rough estimates for task completion.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Demonstrated User Interface design ability, including mobile, desktop, and responsive design.
• Strong proficiency in Figma (components, prototyping, developer handoff).
• Use AI tools to accelerate exploration of UI concepts and content variants, while validating decisions via user feedback and product constraints.
• Solid track record of working within timelines and bold schedules.
• Multiple years of experience as a Product Designer / UX/UI Designer for software products
• Strong interest in PC Gaming.
• Portfolio demonstrating shipped product work and design decision-making.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary accreditation in Arts or equivalent/related field (UX/UI Design, Human-Computer interaction, etc.)
