About Médetone

Médetone is a dynamic and fast-growing online pharmacy that prioritises customer care and innovation in healthcare delivery. We are looking for a dedicated and motivated UX/UI Designer to join our ever growing team. The ideal candidate will have solid UX/UI design experience, be skilled in tools like Figma or Sketch, and understand user research and accessibility, especially in regulated environments.

The role will be responsible for creating user-friendly digital experiences for our customers by conducting user research, developing intuitive interfaces, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, interviews, and testing to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points in the healthcare and MedTech space.
• Develop personas, user journeys, and experience maps to inform design decisions that enhance usability and accessibility.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web and mobile applications that communicate design ideas clearly.
• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and enhance the overall digital experience for customers.
• Work closely with multiple teams to translate business requirements and technical constraints into user-friendly designs.
• Participate in design reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve overall user experience.
• Continuously improve and refine designs based on test results, analytics, and user insights to enhance user satisfaction and functionality.
• Ensure designs adhere to healthcare industry standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA compliance) and consider accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) for inclusive design.

Requirements

• Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
• Strong knowledge of UX principles, best practices, and design systems that drive effective user-centred designs.
• Experience creating and implementing design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across digital products.
• Ability to analyse feedback and usage data to make informed design improvements
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present design ideas and rationale to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on creating pixel-perfect, high-quality designs.
